I dunno, I thought there was something creepy in them saying 'over-18s', as if they'd been told they had to say it to be legal. And the idea that late teens / 20-somethings still need 'correction' and 'parental discipline' in the form of being put over someone's knee (in a non-SM context) is frankly appalling.

I don't feel qualified to judge what works for other people, and I don't think there's anything special about kink that makes it a valid reason for consenting and anything else invalid.
