BTW, don't suppose you know what Brian Paddick's got against pedicabs do you? It seems a surreal thing for a LibDem to take against.

I agree on that one. I think he's possibly going for the black cab vote, but I'm honestly not sure where it came from.

Are there that many cabbies then? Surely only a few tens of thousands, tops. Oh! *penny drops* If you win the cabbies round to your campaign, it's not impossible that the odd one or two might choose to share that belief with an occasional passenger. A few tens of thousands of extra canvassers is an entirely different prospect!
