Rome was great last night, as always. How come it's not the talk of LJ? We have all three episodes so far recorded in case anyone wants to catch up.

I don't know my Roman history very well, and so I don't know what happens - is it perverse of me to want to keep it that way for the duration of the series?

Ha, this reminds me of the time a woman who worked for HBO asked me if I was going to tune in for the second half of a mini-series they were running. (Note I don't have cable so I can't possibly watch HBO at home.)"No," I answered,"I'm actually pretty clear about what happens to Romeo and Juliet in the second half of the story, so I think I feel pretty free to pass on it."

However, I might enjoy watching this series. Hold me a spot on the couch for later?
