[livejournal.com profile] ergotia and [livejournal.com profile] lilithmagna heroically joined me in my journey to Wimbledon to sort out my worries over my stuff; my Mum's partner Chris also crossed London to join us, but mobile phone problems meant he missed all the fun.

We got there about five minutes early, but the Men with Ven were already there! But the guy from the storage space hustled us all to our locker and said "OK, you can start unpacking now" so they did, no questions asked. After we'd found the correct locker (two false tries from the storage place) they unpacked everything into it, with my and [livejournal.com profile] lilthmagna's help, before mentioning money. They asked for an extra GBP 115 over the GBP 150 they'd originally asked for. I said very politely that I thought that it was unfair since it wasn't my fault they'd been late and we'd missed the storage. They looked uncomfortable and said it wasn't theirs either. Then [livejournal.com profile] lilthmagna said "Split the difference?", they looked very relieved, and they accepted GBP 200 for the whole thing. I'm pretty confident that all my stuff was there and I'm very glad to have it all sorted out. Thanks all for the advice!

Saw Big Issue journalist about poly today (with [livejournal.com profile] gemoon, [livejournal.com profile] spikeylady, [livejournal.com profile] babysimon, [livejournal.com profile] trishpiglet), seemed to go well but very rushed. No more lunchtime interviews I think.

I always approve of goths being outnumbered, and think in fact that if polyamory = outnumbering goths perhaps it is a good thing after all! Marvellous, dear!

I think goths like being outnumbered. Because if they're the only goths in any situation they can go "wahey, we're wearing the most black" - and I mean that nicely and kindly and not bitchily (should there be any room for confusion over how I feel about the goths in my life).

I'm an honorary goth anyway.
And my occasional playpartner, D, says I'm an honorary lesbian too.
I want to be an honorary computer programmer next.

Can't I be a computer programmer by default just because I shag you?

Computer programming is not a sexual transmitted disease!

You have to actually program a computer I'm afraid. It really isn't worth it, people are much more fun. Can you tell I'm bored at work today?

Funny you should say that, but I am reading all I can on psychology (and hypnotism) so I can learn to program people.
