11.00-11.30pm, ITV London: Pleasure Seekers. People who enjoy sado-masochism talk about their passion including a couple who road-test a new whip.

We (ergotia and I) reckon we'll see:

• A mid-thirties transvestite who looks like a glamorous secretary, and is a web designer
• A well-preserved hard-faced mid-forties blonde called Margaret living in the suburbs with Master Doug (who is an in-house accountant in a firm that makes lawnmowers, and is really ugly), wearing hideous leathers
• Detailed coverage of a fetish that no-one we know does
• Someone who runs a sex shop showing you their crap handcuffs in a very annoying voice
• Voiceover by a crap psychologist
• A professional dominatrix
• A tame, lame stage show, possibly featuring some very half-hearted girl-on-girl action
• No really good-looking people who are not in the sex industry
• No queers, apart from maybe some women who swing
• No switches
• No-one really smiling and expressing a sense of joy.

And I would really love to be wrong about this sort of thing!

The people: our predictions here were way too precise to hope for an exact match, but we got some matches.

We got the male-dom female-sub couple, but they were *much* better than I'd feared - not especially good looking, but charming and coming across as competent, serious players, not too cheesy. I liked them.

We got a TS woman (though I don't think it was mentioned that she was TS) and Alistair's job was as dull as we'd predicted Master Doug's would be. The cheesy dom was more cheesy than I dared fear. Bets taken on where she's from - Darlington?

• Detailed coverage of a fetish that no-one we know does - fair play to them, they had the decency to cover a fetish that's actually fairly common.
  
• Someone who runs a sex shop showing you their crap handcuffs in a very annoying voice - thankfully not!
  
• Voiceover by a crap psychologist - thankfully not!
  
• A tame, lame stage show, possibly featuring some very half-hearted girl-on-girl action - thankfully not!
  
• No really good-looking people who are not in the sex industry - check!
  
• No queers, apart from maybe some women who swing - check!
  
• No switches - check!
  
• No-one really smiling and expressing a sense of joy. - thanks to Liz and Chris for confounding my expectations here!
  

Overall slightly better than I'd feared, but still essentially being "the usual crap".

Please can we see some young people, good looking people, or switches on these programmes sometime please?

Now if dominatrices in England have cod-German accents, and in the US they have cod-upper-crust-English accents (and call themselves Lady Heather etc), does that mean that Germany is full of dominatrices with cod-American accents?
