No-one uses 10BASE-2 (coax) Ethernet any more, do they? I have loads of the cable but I suspect I might as well throw it away.

It may be a little rigid for weaving into hair, its quite similar to the cable that runs between your tv & video..

it tends to be black or white and I think by the time you'd stripped out the copper core and rigid inner plastic it would be prety messy; with the innards it doesn't bend enough to plait. the smallest coil you can make is is probably 3" diameter.

If I had loads of time, I might deconstruct some to get copper for jewellry/playing with, but I think it would take ages and be hard on the fingers
