The thing that made me fall off my chair that I cryptically referred to in a previous journal entry was this extraordinary testimonial in [livejournal.com profile] please_sir's journal:
When I went out for [livejournal.com profile] morgan99s birthday, I was told by yet another person that [livejournal.com profile] ciphergoth gives fantastic head. I mentioned that I had heard this before and was holding vague hopes of em giving me my first BJ (after my next genital mod is done/ healed) Ey responded by saying that I should not go for this because every BJ after that, by anyone else, would be a total disappointment.
Wow! But can it really be true?

The phrase "blowing your own trumpet" has to be applicable here somehow...

I so wish! I'll never get to experience the best BJ in town!

I've semi-seriously discussed the idea... my beautiful boyfriend has generously agreed to be the demonstration model!

*Grin* I had a freaky conversation over dinner with an old flame of mine last week. I also had a brief *ahem* liaison with his best friend, and they'd been comparing notes concerning 'technique'. Not only was it complimentary (cue obligatory blush), but provided all the details why their current partners can't bear me...comparing notes is best done out of earshot of jealous girlfriends!

(so, how much do you charge for lessons and notes of commendation? ;)

I'm seriously tempted to do the lessons thing we've talked about... as for letters of commendation, I should be delighted to prepare you one but of course I'd need to be speaking from personal experience, when are you next in Edinburgh or London?

*smOOch* and hope to see you soon...

I have to say that at least one person who has experienced both of us says that I'm the best he's had. :)

However, I am not in any sense suggesting a competition! I'm quite sure you've had a lot more practice than me, for a start...

If it's who I'm thinking of, I've had quite a bit of practice since then!

TBH, I think it's possible to be the best for one particular person without necessarily being wonderful overall. Though I have been complimented by more than one person on this particular skill, so I assume I'm quite good. *preen*

On the other hand, I still have a very active gag reflex, so if you're giving lessons, I could do with some help on that. :)

Never mind lessons, the way to overcome this is practise, practise, practise.....

haha!

Even I have heard this and I've only met you once!

As a youth I prized gag reflex above doing naughty things with boys - so I expect you score more points on technical merit than I. However what about artistic impression? Enthusiasm (!)?

These judgments need a decent scoring system, like diving and synchronised swimming.

And from a panel of selected countries. I take it all back, it should be based on Eurovision style voting! And satellite linkup (oo-er). And terrible outfits!!

"Hallo from Norway!"

Ew... I hope this doesn't necessitate bringing Terry Wogan into the mix, as it were.

I like threads that make me laugh out loud, and this one did lots - especially the 'don't feed the ego' sign! I didn't quite hear the 'Paul is the king of blow jobs' rumour before I met you, but it was a close run thing! I've recently been improving my talents in this area, and considering that other people reckon they rate on your level, maybe a competition is in order?! Expect we wouldn't have trouble getting willing test subjects...;)
