I saw that earlier and was quite amazed by the sheer size of it. All it needs now is lighting and hidden speakers to make the organ work and deliver the sermon

Are you really not familiar with the concept of cool-but-stupid?

I think that's what this is...

I am in awe.
Less stupid, I think, were it not dedicated to a dead cat. Cool? Probably not. But, wow. The organ, particularly. The scale of it all...

Q :
There were 622 minifigs in attendance at this service, and the church was less than half full.

I'm scared.

And as for this page...

...not least because one of the 'special guests' in the second row seems to be Darth Vader....

Is it me, or does the minifig first-in-from-the-left in the front row bear a striking resemblance to Bettie Page?

... and isn't that Elton John on the far right?

I'm scared now.

God, that really is Elton John.
Scariest minifig : left of centre, three rows back. Mass-murderer in the church! Eek!

That link doesn't work for me - I get a 'don't link directly' message, so someone's probably checking the referer info.

Quite mad, but impressive... and educational. How many people knew what a 'Narthex' was before this?

I wonder why the cat died so young... Was it sacrificed on the altar?

Sorry about that, didn't check before posting.

Oh the benefits of a Roedean education :)

I'm now sure the cat dying on the day the church was finished is too much of a coincidence... it's either animal sacrifice, or god saying she's not amused.

I resemble that remark!
~grin~ If I hadn't been in choirs I wouldn't have had a clue, it's not really dear old Roedean...

If god wasn't amused, she'd have made the whole thing fall to pieces on the day of its completion...animal sacrifice is probably it. I bet it was that guy in the third row!

Inspired lunacy, I would say...Naomi wants to know where you found this..oh, and she does not believe the cat is dead :)

Naomi also suggests a memorial service for the Queen Mother to be held in this church, with a minifig lying in state.....
