They have free Internet in the hotel!

ciphergothBeans of coolness! The hotel in Leuven has a machine in the lobby that's got free internet access for any guests to use!
Of course it's got a weird Dutch keyboard; I've just been naughty and told it it's got a UK 101 keyboard, so I must remember to change it back when I stop using it.
Flight was fine but delayed, and touched down in Brussels airport; I don't know how I got the impression it was going to Charleroi. Got the train to Leuven, one change, all quite straightforward. Checked in, put my bags away, followed the directions of the person at the desk on where to find food in Leuven at 22:40 on a Sunday (answer: go the right direction and loads of places are open). Saw incredibly beautiful cathedral.
Saw stupid American TV presenter being "wacky" for camera and talking about chocolates, because he's in Belgium. He sees me and runs towards me, camera following, saying "And here's a devil worshipper!", possibly because I was giving him a funny look. I raise eyes heavenward, then look at him with my usual exasperated half-smile and raised eyebrow. He starts apologising: "It was just a joke! A stupid joke!". I decide it means I must look good.
I originally came down to use the Net because I can't remember where I'm supposed to go tomorrow. Unfortunately the FSE 2002 website seems to be down, so I'll have to try and retrieve it all from the Google cache. That or get up in time for breakfast and try and remember/guess which of my fellow guests are cryptographers...
