Going to the Laughing Duck

The Duck is a gay pub in Edinburgh. Used to be *the* gay pub when I came here twelve years ago, started to lose money, burned down in mysterious fire, became straight, is now under old name and gay again.

Apparently their goth and rock night is tonight. I shall check it out. Probably not stay long though - I'm quite tired, and only really going to put my head around the door...

I don't think I've seen anyone dance as enthusiastically, exploiting as much hair, in a while - it was fun to watch :0)

It was good fun, but the gay crowd and the goth crowd didn't really talk to each other, which was a shame. And there were about 10 of the former and 15-20 of the latter.

So what was it about posting here to ask me that appealed more than walking the 10 metres to where I sit? :-)
