There's a local company called Bicon Dental Implants who advertise on the radio all the time. So whenever I hear or read about "BiCon", I can't help thinking about teeth.

You've made a decision which is right and wise for you and where your life is. Don't take any shit from it, if indeed there is any - which I doubt as most of the bi community would run a mile rather than take on running a BiCon, so they can scarcely criticise you for stepping down.

In any case, I think your work over the last few weeks should do a damn fine job of preventing hypothetical shit hitting fans.

I certainly would fwap anyone i heard slagging Paul off for stepping down, since I think it is harder to do the right thing and admit that you can't do something than it is to pretend/jope everything would be ok and keep doing it and perhaps fuck things up more.

hell look at the bi.org thing, NS was petrified ppl would hate him, yet at BiCon last yr I only found people being VERY supportive and understanding, and iirc Paul was one of those who said that he didn't hate NS, and that NS shouldn't be worried that he couldn't continue as he had been doing.

Thats why i like the bi-community so much.... I have only every received love, acceptance and understanding from them/us and people actually make an effort to put themselves in others shoes.
