Well, ciphergoth.org and friends still seem to be in limbo after four days. I've put a draft of my new-look web site up - let me know what you think. Comments on the content and organisation as well as the look are welcome! I'm also keen to know about broken links and suchlike. It will look nicest in modern browsers, but it should be perfectly usable in any browser.

I have learned some CSS! It was pretty easy, actually. Katy - avoid learning about the FONT tag or similar evils, jump straight to CSS, it's nice.

The entire photography section is mostly broken - it's just copied over without changes. I'm on it.

My guess is that it disables the Windows XP / IE 6 feature that turns text on your web site into clickable advertisements for Microsoft stuff.

Yep. The stuff you have to actively turn off, 'cos the default is to roll over and let them have you. It's their divine right, apparently.

Fortunately(?) this 'feature' didn't make it into the final IE6, but the fact that they even considered it, never mind put it in the betas, shows just why MS should be broken up into some very small pieces.
