And in response to this post: Have you ever seen any of the anti-Jewish board games the Nazis were using as propaganda in the 30s and 40s? I found them really disturbing (there were many on display in the Jewish Museum in New York when I visited there, but presumably many exist in other places...) and was reminded of them by, and somehow also comforted by, your Monopoly post.
