Fuck, my phone isn't in the club's lost property.

Whoever had it called Jess at 5am. They didn't answer when I called back. Then it got blocked. What is going on?

Rubbish :(

Hope you find it somehow - having to update all your numbers and start from scratch is not fun :(

At a guess:

Someone has it who doesn't know you but is trying to be helpful. They saw that Jess was the most recent called person and guessed that's someone you know well. They didn't answer when you rang back as they're not carrying it round with them.

Any way you can get the block taken off?

This is a random guess, and may be heavily coloured by my faith in humanity.

When I dropped my phone on the tube (Note: I actually heard it, just didn't realise what it was. As you may guess, all the people sitting near me alerted me to its fall... *sigh*), a lot of people were getting calls for about the next day. They call and hang up when you answer - I think someone suggested they're looking for numbers to sell to telemarketers.

I couldn't get my phone blocked (it wasn't in my name and was PAYG with about £10 credit on it), but they'd block it if I paid £10 to get a replacement SIM first... Oh, and T-Mobile's hold music is horrid.

Sorry, but.......

...I think you had better get a new phone. My perhaps over cynical mind sees nothing particularly positive about the call - drunk thieving wankers are not particularly rational about the things they find amusing :(

I concur with the others who say consider it lost/stolen... My friend's mum lost her phone and the finder phoned several people until they found someone who could say "Yes I know whose phone this is" and arranged for owner contact to be made and phone collected. Oh and I wouldn't phone at 5am, I'd probably wait till more daylight, or send an SMS instead.

I would surmise that it has been stolen.

On one occasion when I had a phone stolen, the thieves decided that making sleazy and explicit phone calls in the middle of the night to recently-called female names was a good idea.

When did you lose your phone? I did text you back, but I'm guessing you didn't get it...
