I have a nasty stomach bug. Jess has pleaded with me not to describe exactly how nasty, but believe me it isn't pretty. After a very unpleasant night, I'm now drinking a cup-a-soup, my first substantial food since yesterday evening.

There's no way I'm going into work until Monday at the earliest...

spikeylady and lilithmagna have of course been wonderful me-looking-after people...

Thanks - that's exactly what I've got I think. And no, I didn't go to the doctor - do they want my statistic, I wonder?

I had the winter vomiting virus back in January - not nice at all. Dehydrated but throwing up withing seconds of drinking any water.

Vaimoni had it even worse (she caught it in hospital and brought it home to me), in that she had simultaneous diarrhoea and projectile vomiting.

It's quite infectious but not serious. Going to your local GP would probably end up spreading it more. I wonder - perhaps they could have a website for reporting it.

Yeah, I was wondering that too when both Seth and Myself came down with it.
