I have a nasty stomach bug. Jess has pleaded with me not to describe exactly how nasty, but believe me it isn't pretty. After a very unpleasant night, I'm now drinking a cup-a-soup, my first substantial food since yesterday evening.

There's no way I'm going into work until Monday at the earliest...

spikeylady and lilithmagna have of course been wonderful me-looking-after people...

Hope you're feeling better soon. Plain boiled rice and peaches are good (but not together), and keep your fluids up!

And yes, fluids are a good thing. Stomach bugs - ick.
