They've taken down the "Police Line -- Do Not Cross" tape outside the office, and the "suspicious car" has gone. I should so have moblogged that, but they told us to keep away from the windows.

I can't decide whether it's worse to be the sort of nutter who'll cross police lines to go to work or the sort of nutter who takes bomb scares terribly seriously. In the end I was carrying a big bag, it was hot and the office is air conditioned, so I and a colleague asked the police guy nicely pointing out that the door was *just over there* and he let us through.

As someone who managed not to get blown up twice by the IRA, I still feel that terrorists win when they terrorise you. Best thing is to carry on with your normal life.

At present I see Blunkett as a far, far worse terrorist than any Al Queda cell in the UK.

I feel it's my bounden duty to have lots of kinky sex outside of marriage because they wouldn't like that. But I lie awake at night - supposing they are hoping that the West destroys itself with degenerate sexual practices? In that case I'd have to become a good Christian, to deny them that pleasure. Sometimes I can't even decide what chocolate bar to buy - what one would they least want me to buy?

If we don't base our electoral decisions on what they don't want us not to do - then the terrorists haven't already not won!

Hmm. "Don't want us not to do" kind of equals "want us to do". "Haven't already not won" kind of means "Have already won".

So If we don't base our electoral decisions on what they want us to do, then the terrorists have already won.

Somehow that sounds wrong to me. Shame the link didn't work for me; I'm sure it would have explained all. Or perhaps I got the logic wrong?

Link seems to work for me - try again? It's a direct quote from the linked cartoon.
