PCMCIA modem needed for atommickbrane

Myself and Kitty have been sorting out a computer for atommickbrane to get her wit and wisdom back to LJ. Kitty has sourced an old laptop ("the Beast") from somewhere, and I've installed Linux and got most things going. But the modem we were planning on using doesn't seem to work, so we need a PCMCIA modem to complete the picture.

It has to be PCMCIA because the serial port doesn't work. It has to be Linux compatible but most such modems are.

I'll be away, so give it to her or kitty_goth... ta!

The Fiery Death of Mir

After nearly four years providing habitation in geostationary orbit many metres above Edinburgh, Space Station Mir is going for splashdown. Come celebrate the life and work of this pioneering vessel at our Fiery Death of Mir party. Dock with Mir from 10pm onwards on Saturday 21 June.
