When should I go to Berlin?
Jul. 16th, 2001 12:46 pmYay! - I got mail from the finance manager today to say I've been paid, woohoo! I can't see the money in my account yet, but I'm somewhat reassured.
The next question is, when should I go to Berlin? Opinions solicited. They want me there soonish, but they prefer it if I can spend a weekend there since that makes travel cheaper. I'm busy in London this weekend and next. There are no direct flights from Edinburgh to Berlin, so the journey usually involves a stopover in London anyway. Here was my original schedule:
Fri 20: travel to London
Sat 21: SM Pride
Tue 24: The Calling (Cambridge)
Sat 28: busy
Mon 30: travel home again
They suggested 30-31 July, but since I can't be in Berlin that weekend I suggested they might prefer 2-3 August.
Oh yeah, this also means it's much more likely I'll actually have real work to do during working hours while I'm in London.
Anyway I'll wait and see what everyone thinks...
