I have done the washing up, tidied and swept my flat, and played a little DDR for the first time in ages. I have also done some work on the "LJ Data Protocol" needed to get TrustFlow up and running once again. Given how rarely I do it, I thought actually writing something in my LJ about my life would round off my virtuous tasks before I go off to get riotously drunk as my many years in Scotland have taught me is right and proper. Next year I'll get around to paying some bills, and some other tasks I don't even want to confess to putting off as long as I have.

So, a random roundup of news and tidbits in random order:

I had a fab Xmas. Very nice time with family - niece Helena, who is about one now, was the star of the show and amazingly charming and sweet, and it was good to spend time with my siblings. I have also been charged to arrange dinner with lovers and Mum since all are keen to see each other again soon.

Followed by the most fantastic loving and kinky time with [livejournal.com profile] ergotia and [livejournal.com profile] lilithmagna, including some incredibly spectacular bondage and probably the most severe beating I've ever received. [livejournal.com profile] spikelady's eventual return from Up North was also very fine, and those of you who read her journal will have seen that she was Most Pleased with her Xmas present.

Quite a few folk already know this, but one big bit of news is that I'm planning on moving in with [livejournal.com profile] spikeylady in April, in a rented flat somewhere around Tooting Bec tube, which is handy for both our workplaces and for L&L's place. Yes, we've had lots of discussions about what we'll be like about washing up etc. Most people's comment seems to be "at last, [livejournal.com profile] spikeylady will have broadband!".

Eh, lots of other stuff. Work is pretty good, January is booked out but I can't remember exactly what with ([livejournal.com profile] stonehan, [livejournal.com profile] purplerabbits, some other things), I must make it to IKEA again while I'm off work, and love and kisses and best wishes for 2004 to lots of you, some I'm seeing tonight and some I'm not.

In case anyone was wondering, Paul, Lili and I are still very much an item and we are very happy to let Jess have the arguments about keeping the tomato ketchup in the fridge, er, I mean the domestic bliss :)

Tomato ketchup in the fridge? Bloody goths I've never heard anything so idiotic. Sorry I didn't return yr text msg by the way, I er... forgot. Yes I shall be popping to the party tonight, although I don't think I'll be going the whole 4am hog and such like.

Well quite. The levels of preservatives in that stuff you could leave it under your bed for 6 months and it would still be fine not that I have or anything...

Exactly. This proves that [livejournal.com profile] conflux is indeed a goth, the ketchup-molesting pervert!

He also keeps jaffa cakes in the fridge...

Happy New Year's and all, I'll be thinking of you celebrating like the young lords of Fall of the Kings.

Meanwhile, reading your friends list is absolutely KILLING me today, when I'm trying to "work" from home. [livejournal.com profile] ergotia sure knows how to shop, though.

I'm living in Tooting Bec just now. You're in Vauxhall, innit? (The choice of the word "innit" was made after dithering over whether "n'est pas", "n'est-ce pas", or some other construction that would be closer to "are you not" would be appropriate. Innit?)
