BiCon 2003
Aug. 15th, 2003 04:06 pmIn less than a week, BiCon 2003 starts.
Now, I love BiCon: I've been going every year since 1991. I've helped run three BiCons including the one last year, so I have a fairly good idea what makes a BiCon. I've been to some wonderful ones, some OK ones, and some which were somewhat chaotic but which went well simply because the right people were brought together.
But from every sign I see about this year's BiCon, it stands every chance of being absolutely the best BiCon ever. It is simply the largest and most competent team, with the best leadership, in the best city, for a very long time. And not just the best so far, either - it may stand as a high point in BiCon history for a long time to come. Maybe forever - there won't be a BiCon forever, you know.
Don't miss out. Don't say "oh, maybe I'll go next year". Don't wonder if you can get the time off work. Go talk to your boss now and book the time off. Come to BiCon. It is the most fantastic time it is possible to have, and it is about to be more fantastic than ever before.
Friday 22nd to Monday 25th August 2003, University of East London, Docklands, London. Book now.

Date: 2003-08-17 09:37 am (UTC)On the other hand, if I don't turn up to 2004, we'll have a bisexual conference with no one in charge and no one knowing what the hell is supposed to be going on, which might make it the definitive bisexual gathering.
