I wonder if our readers have noticed the uncanny resemblance between Senator John Ashcroft, draconian Attorney General for the United States of America, and Emperor Palpatine, supreme ruler of the Galactic Empire, scourge of the Rebel Alliance and servant of the dark side of the Force? Could they be by any chance related? I think we should be told.

Ugh, very scary.

Am at my frind Liz's celebrating her birthday. So I'm on her computer... Have not got one of my own, poor me, deprived childhood/adulthood etc.

To clear up a few things -
Ed Southern is my bloke type thing - was on his computer at the time, that's why the email came back to him. He rang me up the other night very very confused :-) BTW spikeylady has my email if you want it.

Just came to me that I have met you before, but very briefly - Elsinore on November Whitby Monday when you met Jess. In fact, I have a photo of you two together believe it or not. I probably looked pink (weeeelll bits of my hair were! Maybe a lot of my clothes too - anyway I'm the ice cream Cat)
