2. Where were your parents born? Mullingar and Cork.
3. What is the last thing you downloaded onto your computer? A paper on finding graph isomorphisms
4. What's your favorite restaurant? We visit Buffalo Grill more often than any other restaurant, but if I were much richer we'd visit The Tower more often, I think.
5. Last time you swam in a pool? In Italy, early September.
6. Have you ever been in a school play? Yes.
7. How many kids do you want? 0
8. Type of music you dislike most? Guns'n'Roses or other soft metal.
9. Are you registered to vote? I think so.
10. Do you have cable? Yes.
11. Have you ever ridden on a moped? No.
12. Ever prank call anybody? Been in the same phone booth when very young. Those "beep-boop" noises on payphones are a great innovation.
13. Ever get a parking ticket? No.
14. Would you go bungee jumping or sky diving? Yes.
15. Furthest place you ever traveled? Tokyo.
16. Do you have a garden? No. There's a small jungle out the back of our flats though.
17. What's your favorite comic strip? Favourite comic ever, probably Flex Mentallo. Favourite regular strip, dunno. If...? Doonesbury? Penny Arcade? Bobbins? jaketherake?
18. Do you really know all the words to your national anthem? Of which nation? I don't consider myself to have a nation, though I have dual nationality. The only national anthem I know all the words to is Billy Connnely's proposed English National Anthem.

20. Best movie you've seen in the past month? I don't watch movies that often. Last movie I saw in the cinema was I think Minority Report, which was excellent.

29. When was the last time you voted at the polls? 1997 General Election. I was out of town for the 2001 elections.

31. Have you ever won a trophy? Yes, a crappy computing trophy at school, and the Rusty Bolt award for Newcomer of the Year. I don't know what happened to the former; the latter is on display in my room still.

33. Do you know how to pump your own gas? I don't drive, but I can fill other people's cars with petrol.

42. Can exes be friends? Of course. What a weird world you must live in!
43. Who was the last person you visited in a hospital? A friend undergoing chemotherapy for his leukemia, which was in remission. Positive pressure, aprons, the works.

The first time I slept with purplerabbits and aegidian, over a decade ago now, I had a hard time falling asleep lying between them. I had to wake myself up and say sternly to myself "The bed is *not* full of object files. Yourself and the other people in it are *not* executables. Go to sleep!"

I had recently been assigned the job of getting some code working under DOS, and had become convinced in that semi-dreaming state before true sleep that I had to kick the object files out of the bed before I could get to sleep...
