Though, uh, my answer to question 3 could be confusing and/or misleading...

... and i don't see why #2 or #4 should matter at all. (ok, so i realise that some other people might care about #4 ...)

that bit at the bottom, 'if the answer is no, you should probably go' confuses me. surely it depends on which question they answered no to?!
not that anything remotely like that is ever likely to happen to me- i generally have a neal glued to me, (especially when i don't want him to be, feh)

This comic is great. I have just spent about 2 hours reading every single one.

Heh. S*xb*t and I have dark plans to print up a metric shitload of these for Whitby. J. Grant even did a hi-res version for the purpose. There is a nice colour laser printer at work seeking to be abused ...

I always thought that asking #2 was frowned upon, and asking #4 was sort of quaintly straight. Surely you want to ask:

  1. What is your name?
  2. Are you basically sane/safe?
  3. Are you either single or poly tonight?
  4. Are you just being sociable or would you like to play with me?

Personally, I always fail to determine either #2 or #4, so not much success there. I've only ever played with very few goth-like people, all of whom volunteered the answer to #4. I don't know why I find it harder to establish #4 with goths than with mainstreams. I guess the hints are different.

1. What would you like to be called?
2. Are you available?
3. Are you interested?
4. Are you competent to give consent right now?

surely '4' is a bit tautologous (not quite sure if that's the right word for this)?
Even if they're not competent to give consent, they could still consent to giving consent?

True... but I feel more likely to get some idea of the truth of the answer if I ask, rather than if I just guess.
