I think I'm missing the problem(s) that you're trying to solve, although I've got a pretty good handle on what you don't like ;)

From the various things you list, it sounds like you're attempting to address:

1) Transport layer security
2) Authentication
3) Authorization
4) Identity

I think there's also a side-order of:

5) Manageability
6) Useability
(a) for programmers
(b) for users

Is that a reasonable summary?
