You need desire and the will to do so. You also need inteligence, cunning and a bit of wisdom. Suits of armor, jet packs... sure they may allow you to jump off a cliff or handle being fired upon by some villian. But they will not prevent you from being killed, captured or ... worse. None of these "add-ons" will give you the will, the integrity and the courage to do what needs to be done.
A word about courage ... it is not the absence of fear ... it is the ability to act in the presence of fear. This is not something that comes easily.
