The Schonefeld experience...

Been there, done that - I flew to Schonefeld with a small mob of goths on my way to Leipzig WGT. And it really is a grotty little place, isn't it? Makes you realise that the horrors of sixties architecture aren't just a British thing, alas...

The restaurant's not too bad, iirc - but if that burger was from the stall in the downstairs lobby, I wouldn't have risked it myself... :)

And, funnily enough, when we flew over in June, Ben's luggage went missing. I guess it really does happen all the time. It was just over 24 hours before they got it back to him, I think. Wonderful bunch. Although thankfully, we had Markus there - so, much to their surprise, they got a thorough earbashing in flawless German...
