Sunday and Monday

Sunday: Woke up next to Karen through the
cunning device of sleeping next to her. countess_sophia's
flatmates had returned, so we sort of had to give up the bed but we
found time to play a little first. Then it was the usual game of "can
we get everyone to get it together to go to the pub before Paul
starves?" but we got there just in time, after Karen borrowed my
black and red Dennis the Menace sweater to replace her corset top
which had become too uncomfortable.

Old man in the pub: "I like music, me! Are you grunge?" Us: "Well, we're more sort of goth." Him: "Oh yes, goth! You mean like The Grateful Dead!"
Had a lovely time in the pub. There was a small trauma when the time came to leave the pub and I realised that Karen planned to hang on to my sweater until I saw her on Tuesday. There was no real danger I would need it - sweltering weather was promised - but that wasn't the point; I was afraid it was all part of a bid to steal my soul. But I reluctantly agreed to part with it briefly.

We headed home, and gave up on efforts to watch "Some Like It Hot"
when ergotia's Mum turned up and then we ended up chatting
to
trishpiglet about a family crisis.
Monday: ergotia was ill with a chest
infection so she and Lily stayed at home and we did useful stuff.
After shopping in town, we decided that we needed to replace the bed
we had finally destroyed the night before, so I took Lily for her
first trip to IKEA.
This was, I swear, the gayest experience of my life. I thought that getting roughly sodomized by my boyfriend on the Friday night was pretty queer, but it was as nothing compared to perusing the sample bedrooms together, her pondering different designs in kitchen cupboard door in her tight black jeans and white T-shirt while I drank bottled water from a bum-bag. Lily fell instantly in love with the IKEA experience as I knew she would. We assessed each bed for looks, comfort, sturdiness and suitability for bondage, lay on different beds and made eyes at each other, and finally found exactly the right one, king-size so we can fit three people in it properly.
Of course it wasn't in stock. *sigh*... Lily suddenly tired of IKEA at that point and we headed straight home, back on the cute little tram system they've now got running around Croydon.
