Very nice date with Lili. The restaurant were on to us though - the house red was "Il Faggotino"... Went back to Streatham since I still have a real downer on my flat, and what with Lisa and Jess having a date on the same night the house was filled with the sounds of same-sex action. Rar!

Woke bolt upright from a nightmare at 5am though, and eventually caved in and started playing computer games. Max Payne doesn't seem to keep quicksaves between invocations and I couldn't be arsed to watch the initial, seemingly unskippable cut sequence again so I re-installed Wolfenstein and played that until my sweeties awoke a couple of hours or so later. I was so glad to see them!

Now I'm on an earlier than usual train to work; it's an old-style train with narrow corridors, ill suited to carrying standing passengers, so people can't get on but no-one's jammed up against me. I've hooked my umbrella into the parcel shelf to give myself something to hang on to, and am thus typing this one-handed on my phone.

I set up a photoblog as per [livejournal.com profile] gnomatron's suggestion. I'll post a picture of the sort of train I'm talking about so you can all experience the Power of Photoblogging.

Now waiting on a crowded London Bridge platform. This getting into work early business sucks...

Update: This Billmon article on US prison atrocities in Iraq is a must-read.
