Surgery is today

My nasal polypectomy will be sometime after 1200 today. It's a very straightforward procedure; an hour under general anaesthetic, then a few hours in the recovery room, then spikeylady takes me home in a taxi, then a week off work. They don't even need to make an incision.

Update: home now, Jess has fed me quiche, feeling OK. I have a pad tied to my nose :0)
