Anyone need a truly ancient broken laptop?
Jan. 5th, 2006 11:09 pmFree laptop for any as want it. Not much chance this is any use to anyone, but if I'm wrong we can still retrieve it from the bin.
It's probably about ten years old or so, it's a Pentium 90 with 24 Mb RAM. The hinge is broken, so you have to prop the screen up against something to use it. Two PCMCIA slots. 800x600 256 color display. Weighs a ton. The only advantage it has over a £10 computer from eBay is that you can't get a monitor for that little quite yet.
I'm not really expecting anyone to take it; I'm just taking advantage of the fact that I've finally made Internet access possible downstairs.
