International Celebrate Bisexuality Day
Sep. 24th, 2003 11:45 pmInternational Celebrate Bisexuality Day has been good and properly celebrated. Myself,
lilithmagna,
ergotia and
spikeylady all woke up with a same-sex partner this morning and went to bed with an other-sex partner. Rar!
I haven't updated in weeks, so here's a brief summary.

I haven't updated in weeks, so here's a brief summary.
- I have a job! I'm doing webby backend for LShift in fashionable Hoxton. I've had the job since the start of September. So far, I like it - bright people, interesting work and good atmosphere.
- I went to Devon and did more horsey stuff. It was good.
- Damien Hirst's sixteen-foot spastic has appeared in the park just 30 seconds from my work. It's true - it says "Spastics Society" on the collecting tin!
- I'm looking for somewhere new to live v. soon. I've suddenly decided I want somewhere by myself, either within walking distance of my work or near one of the Tooting Tube stations.
- TrustFlow got shut down a while back - scraping people's friends lists from the userinfo.bml pages caused too much load on LJs servers. However, Brad responded by proposing we invent a protocol by which LJ can serve this information without undergoing the same load. The design is going well.
- As part of that discussion, I started thinking about Single Sign-On protocols, and came up with a simple design suitable for LJ. Here it is...
spikeylady makes nice hot chocolate.
- Updating LJ from bed is (cool/sad) (delete as applicable)
