USB boot devices and other favours
Jan. 31st, 2003 01:53 amDoes anyone in London have a USB or Firewire floppy or CDROM drive I could borrow briefly to boot my machine into Linux? I've tried a variety of other approaches.
I'll happily buy my own USB CDROM drive if I can be sure it will actually boot from it.
And can anyone recommend an Internet cafe which will let me plug in my non-wireless laptop so I can feed from the teat of broadband?
Must also make arrangements to see today's Buffy and Angel episodes.
