I had been vaguely under the impression that I was flying to Rome on Saturday. I just checked, and my flight leaves London Stanstead on Friday at 1530.

Time to mail my work and say "oops, I need Friday off too, sorry about the mistake!"

Also, I seem to remember one person saying that they were scared to blow me because they had heard tell of my own prodigious skill in that department (presumably from toilet walls all over the country) and so they feared they wouldn't meet my high standards.
