Big, big changes ahoy

Action points:

• I'm going to need a job in London starting July 1. My CV - needs updated but not too bad.
• I'm going to need somewhere to live in London around a similar time. I'd rather share a flat, anyone else looking around that time?

Several recent events conspire to point my life in a new direction.

• I'm more in love with London life than ever.
• It's become clear that my current work situation isn't sustainable, and we've agreed to call it off; I can't get work done in a situation where I never set eyes on my colleagues and they don't even speak the same language as me. Likely finish date June 30.
• It looks like it's going to be hard to keep Mir going for the long term, especially since paying rent in two cities is killing me.
• bootpunk is likely moving back to the UK in the near future - he will want to move into the room in London I'm currently staying in.
• The biggest change: after eleven wonderful years, purplerabbits and I have agreed that our relationship is no longer a "going-out" one, though we're still very close in our own way and people shouldn't be surprised to see us acting as couple-y as ever when we're together.

All of this means that I will be moving permanently to London in the near future. We'll be selling Mir around the end of August; I have to sell lots of things I own in Edinburgh (eg a drumkit), and get the rest to London somehow - a real removals firm is probably the only way to do it. I have to sort out a job and a place to live in London.

I'm pretty sure all this is ultimately for the best, and leads to the future I want to be in. All the same I'm more than somewhat stressed about such big changes in such a short time frame!
