Wise? No, not me, mate. I may occasionally know where to look, or remember the last time something was tried, but "wise"?

"Akicif", as in my handle here and a domain name or two, dates back to a poorly thought-out idea and badly-executed attempt to set up something on the lines of a consultancy co-operative the last time there was a local minimum in the ongoing recession. Basically the idea was to be able to chuck interesting problems at underemployed friends and former colleagues. The bank thought (unsurprisingly) that this was all a bit airy-fairy... And then of course, along came Google Answers, doing more or less the same thing, but on line, and exploiting the researchers to hell and back.

Why "akicif", though? "All Knowledge is Contained in Fandom" (or fanzines).
