First off, I shall be in the pub tonight. Who's with me?

Second, my ears have been playing up since taking a very long, hot bath on Sunday. That night, as I tried to sleep, it felt as if I couldn't drain the water from my ears no matter how I tried. My left ear is now completely better, but my right ear hurts and I can't hear properly with it. So I'm going to get food and then go to the doctors to get it sorted out...

Update: they gave me Otomize ear spray to clear the infection, and told me to use olive oil to attack the wax buildup. Now to spray my ear. U: Eeerugh!

You'll probably be told one of
  • to use ear drops for 3 days and come back to get your ears syringed.

  • no sign of wax, probably an ear infection have some antibiotics
If it's option one, you're apparently better off with warmed olive oil than ear drops, which are caustic and can aggravate the soreness.

    PS why doesn't LJ recognise
    1. ordered lists
    ?

i get the ear thing occasionally- it usually goes away on its own (translation: too lazy to go to the doctor, me). but getting it checked is probably a better plan.

see you in pub :)
