Finsternis
Just to say I will be going to Finsternis tonight, maybe see you there?
What I'll be wearing depends on whether the dry cleaners get my velvet coat ready in time (Update: yes!)

In news from other LJs on my friends list:
- I keep glancing back to the extraordinarily wonderful dress that
corsetboy pointed us to, and gasping with lust and desire. I want very much. I want for this Whitby. I keep imagining this dress standing out in the darkened room at the Spa. I wouldn't be that surprised to learn it cost a five-figure amount though.
- Contrary to what the Discovery Channel says, witches were traditionally depicted riding broomsticks brushes to the back just as you might expect.
- Science Made Stupid
- Don't buy from the Black Rose.
- I keep updating LJs like these long after I've posted them, though I try to keep in mind not to invalidate whatever comments people might have made...
fiber optic clothing
(I am of course left handed, but even so.)

I'm still wondering what I'll wear for Whitby.

*the black rose are crap. none of their clothing is made to fit normal human beings. i ordered something from their website and when it arrived it a) didn't fit and b) was broken. i got a refund though, but wouldn't buy from them again. the stuff they sell from other companies is okay, though.

they obviously know their stuff is crap if they're not wanting to give out refunds..

However, I can't shake the feeling that by the time we can all afford it, it will be so common as to seem tacky. :o(

Heh. It can take some self-restraint, yes. I tend to try to write the initial entry offline and not be afraid of two or three one-liner entries in a day if it's been that inspirational. And not to edit after the first hour without adding Update: or Addendum:.

Actually I'd meant this entry to be a collection of stuff all along, but I absent-mindedly submitted it early, so I rushed around augmenting it after it was up...
