Once you've repointed your DNS, how does LJ know which journal to show? Or does it parse your domain name and try to match?
Not that I want to do this or anything.

I've added a link to the news item about it, but in short, go to
modify journal
and type the domain in.
journal.ciphergoth.org. CNAME www.livejournal.com.

I just fancied using the one I'd left on ukreg for this, but I've prodded the colo admin team to use one of those, too.
