Telepest appear to be royally screwing up again. I have no broadband. Bwaaah! I'm doing this through a dial-up link, which allows me to browse the web but not check email, but I'll drop the line in a bit to go for a shower. *sigh*
I seriously hope the situation does not persist for long, because I'm leaving for Belgium at 4pm tomorrow.
Oh, and
coracaskia isn't coming this weekend for Vain, as we thought; the weather means that her chances of getting home in reasonable time aren't too good. She might visit in about a fortnight if that's OK with my flatmates...
Bwaah! I want my 10BASE-T!
Update 2: Phoned Telepest support. The "please wait" message was followed by a couple of recorded messages from engineers that basically said "everything is fucked. We know. We're on it." So I didn't bother waiting any longer. At least I know it's not my fault.
I've got ciphergoth@hushmail.com now but I don't know how often it'll be checked...

That sucks, reminds me of the probs we had with NTL last year when the phone line went down. Don't you have a webmail account you can set up to check POP3 mail?

Hush on a dialup. Not fun.
Mind you, I've forgotten my hush passphrase AGAIN. I've just set up GPG on my home box. Wonder how long I'll be able to remember that one for...
Telepest
Hmm, I use http://www.mail2web.com which works okayish, and usefully doesn't require you to sign up first.
