Help, please lend me a Fifties dress!

I've left this a little late, but: does anyone have a Fifties-style dress in a size 10 that might suit me that they could lend me for Strictly Bona Ballroom on Saturday? I have unsurprisingly failed to sort my costume out, and since we moved I've been unable to find any of my favourte frocks.

You should come to SBB, by the way, it will be fab!

[livejournal.com profile] postmodern_minx and I are going down to the fancy dress shop in Clapham on Saturday - they have fifties dresses.

Allison may have something, though she is quite a bit larger than you up top.

She has size 10 fifties style skirts though, and a big boofy petticoat if you are stuck.

The dress in this icon might work - I can't find a better photograph of it, but you can see the neckline, and the skirt is knee-length and has a chiffon overlay with a bow that makes it look quite flared. If you want to borrow it, I'm probably heading over to [livejournal.com profile] dennyd's place to study one evening later in the week, so could meet up as you're leaving work.

All of mine are size 14, sorry!

Oooh do we get photos of all the petticoated goodness afterwards?
:-)

Sorry that I don't have a suitable dress for you, but very impressed to hear that you fit a size 10!
