Scary thing to happen to anyone, but I wonder if the UK authorities would consider legislation that groups hugs are good and clearly the key weapon in reducing violent crime in society...stun guns?..bah give me a group hug anytime!

About a year ago I had a bad day at work and was stomping off home, to be confronted by the Chugger Army in Victoria Street. I got asked to donate to whoever, said no, and the guy said "Don't worry. No-one does. Can I have a hug then?" We gave each other a big hug and both went away feeling a lot better.

Ah! A telling demonstration of the frailty of the human condition and the use of empathy in conflict resolution. In Capitol Hill too. Will they ever learn?
