Rah! Then I will see you at both, and there will be much rejoicing.

I hope that's a meeting where a lot of bisexuals stand around in an abandoned tube station. (I'm not clicking on the link at work what if I got sacked for treason).

[identity profile] valkyriekaren.livejournal.com 2003-11-11 05:06 am (UTC)(link)
Unfortunately not; fortunately, it is a meeting where a lot of bisexuals hang out in the basement of a pub and do bisexual things (like talk, eat dinner, drink booze and play board games). Come along - it'll be fun. There may be Scrabble!

You play Scrabble? I do need more practice. I think I am getting WORSE rather than better. Will there be a board? Whereabouts and what time, I could do a few early doors seeing as I've already seen this weeks Buffy (just in case I was out today, you understand)!

I say, West London? That'll be making two visits to West London in a week, I'll be putting a bone through my nose next.

Will anyone I er, actually know be there early doors? No offence but I am rather worried at the prospect of ordering my first pint and it being knocked out of my hand by the paws of a 'homicidal psycho jungle cat' before first SWIG :)

Drat time for a meeting.

He's (mostly) a very well-behaved cat, and I should be there reasonably early, as I'll be leaving work between five and half past, all being well.
They do food, too.

Watcha mean, *mostly* ? ;)

I don't think you know me as such, but I'll be there from 6pm, and see it as one of my jobs to ensure that no knocking of pints out of hands (metaphorical or real) occurs. It being partly my gig an' all.

Scrabble. Not sure anyone's bringing Scrabble at the moment, although if there's a demand I'll try to arrange it.

[identity profile] valkyriekaren.livejournal.com 2003-11-11 06:37 am (UTC)(link)
I could in theory nip home and grab my travel set, though this will mean I'll get there later so I'd prefer not to.

Grah - after too much coffee in meetings my head is reeling and I feel extremely stupid as my Clever Idea is officially a Not-Working-Idea so I may not be too much fun in the pub. How often do you guys do these things? And is there always Scrabble! (Oh now I fancy a pint) (Stop it internal dialogue you can't have a stranger thinking you are a loon) (Too late I fear).

They're once a month, but please come along anyway. It's not compulsary to be perky. ;-)

I'm not sure if I'd encourage me, now I've seen your bio describe yourself as "web-type person" I'd be likely to bug you about SODDING STYLESHEETS (I have issues) until you drowned me in ale. Mmm. Ale.

This looks so easy when he does it but can I do a similiar thing for our pages? OH NO.

[identity profile] wechsler.livejournal.com 2003-11-11 08:42 am (UTC)(link)
Your pint is safe, trust me ;)

But don't get me started on CSS.

[identity profile] atommickbrane.livejournal.com 2003-11-11 08:48 am (UTC)(link)
I'd be angry at it but I have a feeling I do not know enough about this to have "defined" stuff in the page to work with the CSS anyway and what is this div stuff all about ANYWAY and why does it work for one bit and not the other and why why why why

*cries*

How cool. I wish there was something like that in Glasgow!

Or that I lived in London.

Ooh, la - have finally found and friended you. Did mean to chat to you more at BU but was too busy getting my arse whipped at Scrabble...
