No, but my coat was gone and another in it's place. Upstairs just inside the door at the back.

Mine was a very new long black leather ladies coat with leather covered buttons and quite deep pockets with slightly used tissues in them (sorry!). Can't remember the make...

The coat left behind was a similar long coat but the leather was more worn. It's still at Laughtons as I thought someone might go back for it.

I'd be really grateful if you could get in touch as I'm quite sentimentally attached to that coat - even if it's just to let me know it's not mine!
I can pass on Laughtons phone number and you or I can make some arrangements to fetch it.

It sounds like I might have your coat. I hope the one Laughtons have is mine. Confused as what happened to me was the same - another coat was where I had left mine. Weird time-slip or what?

I have worked out what went wrong - I took the wrong coat from a big pile, put it elsewhere, then noticed it was the wrong coat when it was time to go. Sorry! Email me ciphergoth@livejournal.com and we'll sort it out.

I left mine intentionally, but I doubt it would be confused with anyone else's - very heavily padded black thing - looked a bit like a goth immersion heater. Also stank of stale beer.
