Hung over

Lovely pancake night yesterday at [livejournal.com profile] ladycat's place, with [livejournal.com profile] nisaba, [livejournal.com profile] melston, [livejournal.com profile] childeric and [livejournal.com profile] moomintroll in attendance. We all had fun helping with food preparation, the vegetarian chilli and the pancakes were lovely, and we stayed up until 4am getting roundly drunk and having incredibly dodgy conversations ([livejournal.com profile] moomintroll left early to go out clubbing). [livejournal.com profile] childeric's incredibly detailed and vivid plot outline for near-future, dystopian Mandleson/Portillo slash in particular will stay with me far longer than I might like.

Am *still* hung over. But I must go and get at least a few things done. So far I've had breakfast and lunch, and showered, and poked the computer.

I bought the Treo 600. It *rocks*. In particular the firmware is far more stable and easier to use. *Very* sadly, however, the CityMaps application that I used all the time and was very fond of doesn't work under Palm OS 5 and there are no plans to port it. Anyone know of a London map program compatible with Palm OS 5?

Now that the [livejournal.com profile] ljfoaf protocol is in place, I'm thinking about resurrecting TrustFlow.

You know, when I heard political pundits 10 years ago predicting Mandelson and Portillo 'going at it over the ballot boxes', that wasn't the sort of image I had in mind.

I think we could all have lived without the idea....
Ick!!!

(Although still not quite as ick as John Major and Edwina Curry)

Bugger. Had I thought that everyone would have been up that long, and not going to Tenebrae, I'd have hopped in MineBringer and come over to join in after college. Glad a good time was had by all, though.

And re Mandelson/Portillo - already TMI ... [wince]

I've just got the maps from http://www.westering.com/ - there's a trial version.

Rar for phone! Can you do me a favour and check whether Eatwatch runs okay on it before I go and fork out?

See my pretty rabbit icon - I'm dead pleased with that, so I am.

Ewwwwwww.

Cheers. The Mandelson/Protillo slash is now firmly embedded in my head. I wouldn't mind, but when *I* magic up stuff of this level of grimness it never stays in my head (just all the other heads where I have deposited it...)

I bought the Treo 600. It *rocks*.
Go back to the shop and get them to replace the missing little rubber foot ;-p
Sorry, the "my life rocks! Try putting a folded up piece of paper under one of the legs" is currently my favourite joke :-)

Oh god, I'd blanked out for the sake of my sanityforgotten about the Mandleson/Portillo slash... [livejournal.com profile] childeric deserves to be choked on his own hair for that one.
