Just don't turn into someone who says "I don't like this but I have to" without using the Serious Voice to find out if you really have to.

It's not that I *have* to - I wouldn't get fired for working consistent eight-hour days. It's just worth working hard now in return for slack later. If we hit PermaCrisis then I'm slacking off bigtime.
