Going to Bisexual Underground tonight, see some of you there!

I am half-way through writing a DDR file for "This Is The New Shit". I stayed up late working on it and testing it from the keyboard while spikeylady slept next to me. I can't wait to try it on the mats.

I assume purplerabbits doesn't know this song or we'd have seen it crop up as a source of titles :-)

I also rewrote the "findbpm" program that comes with Pydance so it used least squares line fitting to find the BPM and offset for the song file, rather than just drawing a line between the first and last dot. It's a big improvement to the accuracy of the results! Should appear in the next version of pydance in a month or so.

The EMS USB2 (which is USB 1.1 BTW) was recommended by the Pydance people, so I got that, and it's worked fine. I got two mats, one didn't work, sent it back, got replacement swiftly. Happy.
