A joke explained is a joke ruined?

Bilateral symmetry = left hand side is a mirror image of the right hand side. Eg humans have it, more or less, so we have the same number of arms (and legs and eyes and ears and most other bits) on each side.

Now, on a planet where that's not the case... what might the equivalent of T-shirts look like?

I particularly liked:

"Space Opera. It's not over until the fat lady explosively decompresses..."
-- Matt Ruff / Lisa Gold, rec.arts.sf.written

"My other car is a cdr."

My current favourite .sig spotted is:

"JESUS SAVES! ...and takes half damage"

Though, having now scoured the quotes page, I do love:
"It's not true that the French are ungrateful for what the Americans did in WW2. In fact they're so inspired by the American example that they plan to wait two years until they personally are attacked, then join the coalition and pretend the war against Saddam was all their idea."
and wish it was attributed!

*hysterical*
Thank you! That has cheered me up immensely!
