Quote of the day

I feel that 'now look what you made me do!' is almost never a phrase one should be caught saying, whether one has just burnt the toast or got involved in a major land war in Asia.

Where's a good place to have lunch near Moorgate and Liverpool St station?

Thanks for the thought-provoking responses to what I wrote about internationalism. I'll probably post a reply later today here in my journal, since I think many of the responses I've had have threads in common.

Brick Lane! Go to Brick Lane! (If you like Indian food. It's almost entirely Asian restaurants and foodshops, and worth seeing just for itself. 10 mins walk from Liverpool Street.)

Or search here: http://www.squaremeal.co.uk/restaurants/london/
under City-North, less than £25.

May I recommend The Eagle on Farringdon Road, near Moorgate (and The Guardian).

I apologise for not being thought provoking :-) Am I forgiven?
