Greetings to mopani

More units for the Hive Mind: Steph stayed over last night and I persuaded her to create a LiveJournal account: mopani. She reminds me very much of ajva. Welcome to the addiction...

Had lots of fun at Gigantor last night, chatted to queenofsmut, cairmen, skx, and several shadow people. "Shadow people" are the people who aren't on LJ. These days they seem slightly insubstantial to me, as if when you see them you can just make out a little of the wall behind them; I think it's because when they're not there, you can't see them...

Followed by fab party at sparklegoth and dragal23's place, attended by nik_strychnine, sleepycinderell, sabledemon, sublevel3, figg, selectnone among others; played Cardboard Tube Samurai and stayed up 'till 7am. mopani needed a place to crash so came back with me.

purplerabbits is coming back tomorrow, and we're going out to dinner. Probably travelling to London on Wednesday.

wow ive never been described like that before: usually it would be 'nippy, young and annoying, crap dress sense, scruffy' or something. i didnt know my hair was red. id have said minging brown. hehe

Wow... Is LJ more prevalent in the UK? I mean it's nice to have one stop shopping to see what your friends are up to, but so far I only know of a few friends on LJ. Yours is the only journal I watch that is quite so peppered with meatspace interaction with LJ people.

2.5 years later almost everyone I know has an LJ, though many barely if ever use it. I was one of the more active recruiters.
